Day 3 (May 23rd)

Get a Pedicure/manicure:

Check! I have no idea why I've never done this before. Ok maybe I do. The thought of seeing how rough my feet were has always been kinda embarassing. I walk around in sandals or bare foot so they aren't soft and all that. They are now! Besides having my toes painted (which is something I never do) they also give you a great calf massage. Heavenly. I have been working out so hard and have been moving so much that it was nice to feel those muscles in my legs finally relax. Don't mind the picture of the botched toe nail polish. I was so excited after the pedicure that I had to try on a pair of cute shoes and messed it up. Ah well. Totally worth it. Going to find a way to make this part of a regular thing every couple of months. It's worth it and I would recommend it to anyone who just needs to relax a little bit.

I also got myself a manicure. It was a special package price for the manicure and pedicure. I love it. These are my own nails people. I've been growing them out and they look great. Granted I'm home now and the polish has chipped and it looks rough it was fun while it lasted. Again something that I wouldn't normally do but am so glad that I did. Not sure how often I'll do this but it made me feel pretty put together to have beautiful nails for a little bit.

This little experience overall was very nice. I did something I wouldn't normally do and I relaxed which is something I apparently don't know how to do very well but am learning.
