I was tired today. Really tired if I'm going to be honest. My son decided he needed to be up several hours last night for no apparent reason and since my husband sleeps like a rock I was up with him. After that though I spent the day taking care of our busted dryer and trying to get the wet clothes dried and hauling my two kids to the grocery store to score some of the awesome produce sales. I was tired before the day started and I continued to be tired as the day went on.
Since I was so tired I didn't want to not work out especially since I spent most of the last week not working out at all. I decided to do some yoga. I have my Reebok Yoga Weight Loss DVD that has a few different workouts on it and decided to give that a go. Figured it would be a good way to help squeeze in a little bit of exercise. Warrior Poses will be the death of me I swear. I was doing good with the other stuff. Breathing was good. Muscles engaged. Starting to sweat and bam I lost it with warrior pose. I just couldn't hold that pose for more than 3 seconds at a time and had to keep starting over. It felt good though to stretch my muscles and to at least be doing some workout.
Does anyone else find the warrior poses to be impossible to hold? I'm wondering if it's just me and my physical limitations that make it hard or if it really is just a difficult series of poses to do.
