15 ... 16...

Yesterday I just wasn't feeling the whole workout thing. Maybe because it was the perfect lazy day. It was rainy, overcast, and cool and it was a great day for hanging out in our pjs all day and watching movies as a family. Perfect!

So I've realized I'm probably going to be taking more than 90 days to finish p90x. It might be like 100 days or more. We will see. While I'm all for the results I want to still enjoy the rest of my life and sometimes that means just giving up a day or two of working out to spend time with your kiddos or loved ones.

To try and stay on track and because I actually feel like doing the extra work today I'm doubling up. I already completed a workout (the one I was suppose to do yesterday) and I'm still planning on doing today's scheduled workout tonight after the kiddos go to bed.

I'm also going to try and take a run tomorrow if I can. I haven't run since the other night but I am anxious to get back out there and do it again.

Today was a weigh in day for me. I've lost .5 lbs. Woohoo! lol I probably could have lost more but my eating has been off and I have some doubts that I'm burning as many calories as the heart rate monitor says I am. Need to work on finding myself a middle ground to be happy on with that. Anyways I am now at 170! 170 was one of my mini goals and now I get to buy myself some new winter gloves that I've been loving on Etsy.com My final goal is 150 which isn't that far away now!

I also took measurements just for the heck of it. It's been about 2 weeks since I started p90x and I've lost an inch in my hips and in my waist and 2 in my bust. I also lost an inch on my thighs and my arms are about the same. I think I might have actually gained a tiny bit in my arms. So even though I'm not doing p90x by the book (I'm not doing the nutrition guide since I don't have it) I am still loosing and feeling good about it.

The funny thing to me about losing weight and or inches, etc. is that some of my old clothes still fit. I mean I still wear a Med/Large etc in stuff. Why? I think it has to do with body frame. So even if I can never wear a size 0 (who really wants to anyways thats crazy tiny!) I may always wear bigger clothes just because of my frame. Don't get me wrong I have gone down a few sizes in pants but overall I'm still wearing a lot of the same old clothes I always had they just hang differently on me.

Just completed today's regular workout of Plyometrics. Considering that the kids were trying to do it with me and kept getting in my way, that Sophia had a meltdown the last 10 mins the dvd was on, and that it was my second workout for the day I'm feeling pretty good about it. I'm exhausted...I'm not even gonna lie about that.

Tomorrow is back to one P90x workout and hopefully a 2 mile run. That is if I can even more tomorrow morning. lol :)
