Goodbye workout equipment....

So back before my birthday last month my awesome husband bought me an AB Circle Pro to help me work out my abs that I was hating so much. He was being so great and I did tell him I wanted it. What can I say those infomercials sure do know how to suck you in and convience you what a deal it is.

Anyways we went to Dicks sporting goods and plunked down the card for it. Spending $200 on something that was used exactly 2 weeks and before I decided that I just needed to do P90X and that this toy wasn't doing what I wanted anyways.

Needless to say I feel bad. $200 spent on something that gets dusty and is in the way. Anyways I decided to list it on Cragislist for $150. I need to recover some of the cost so we can pay it back to the card. I don't want it to be a total lost but I understand too that I can't charge someone full price for something that is used. Anyways a girl made an offer of $100 and I'm taking it. I need the money and I want that disaster of a machine out of my house for good.

Ok so besides learning that I was a sucker and bought something that was stupid to begin with. I also realized that just good ole fashioned hard work will do what you want and that no toy is going to do it for you. No toy no matter how fancy or shiny is going to give you the rock hard abs you want.

I do own an elliptical and I still think it was and is worth the money for me, but here on out I will no longer be a sucker and buy toys that are designed to focus on just one area of the body. I will continue to do workouts that target the whole body and will be smarter about the choices that I make from here on out. In fact I'm learning that it really takes very little as far as workout tools to get a good workout in. My next fitness purchase I plan to make is a jump rope and I think they have those at the dollar store. :)

Oh and yes I kinda feel bad selling the equipment to someone else but I do need it gone and I do need the money (money is really really tight right now) so don't judge me for selling something that I don't believe actually works I feel bad enough already.
