Race Times

Ok so in the last few days I've been able to see the official race times posted for both races I have done.

Sadly the first race that I did back in October was very disorganized and I in fact had to stand in line for several mins after I finished the race to hand in my bib. Apparently they added that time into my run time and said that my run time was 43 mins 10 seconds and that my age is 21! Fail on both accounts but whatever it was about the fundraising and doing something different for me anyways. In case you were wondering the time on the clock when I crossed the line before I had to wait in line said  38 mins 20 seconds. Though I appreciate that they thought I was younger I don't mind saying I'm actually 29. :)

The second race that I did was the Victory 5K just this past weekend. I thought I finished the race at 36:02. Todd took a picture of me just past the clock so I thought thats when I finished. In fact I actually finished before that. That was just the walking area to rip off my bib number to hand in. So I did even better than I thought I did. I finished at 35:52. I know that isn't much difference but I'll take every second I can get. :)

Ok so first 5K I did it in 38:20 (I refuse to count the time they put since I had to wait in line after I was done) and the second one I did in 35.52. Not too bad. At least I don't think so. I hope that for my third and final 5K for the year to hit 30 mins. That would be awesome.
